Our client, a 3rd party logistics company in Middletown,NY, is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their HR team. The ideal candidate must have excellent computer skills, strong administrative background and be very detailed oriented so that you will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Location: Middletown, NY
Pay Range:$25.00/hr
What’s the Job?
- Administers HR programs related to the development of company-wide human resources policies and practices in accordance with the corporate objectives.
- Assists the management team on issues related to recruiting and retention strategies with staff
- Guides Supervisors, Managers and Employees on benefit enrollments and performance appraisal process.
- Assists with sensitive and confidential staff issues
- Assists with payroll functions for all staff- including permanent staff and all seasonal employees during peak season.
What’s Needed?
- Excellent Attention to Detail
- MS Word and Excel experience for memos and reports
- Previous HR administration experience preferred
- Reliable and hard working
- Bi-Lingual in English / Spanish a plus
