IT Support Specialist - $27.84 hour

What will you be doing?





* Monitors and supports daily operation of the network environment (i.e., servers, workstations and other peripherals) to ensure optimum performance, availability and security;

* Installation and configuration of hardware and software;

* Troubleshooting and resolving problems that occur;

* Serves in a help desk capacity to provide user support of hardware and software;

* Participates in IT projects including recommendations, design, planning, implementation and testing

* Serves in a help desk capacity providing user support for the Court's Case Automated Tracking System (CATS);

* Planning and implementing infrastructure and server environments that support the development and production environments for CATS and programming staff;

* Participates in ongoing testing and support related to CATS releases;

* Performs basic database administration;

* Generates statistical and summary reports regarding court and case-related activity

* Documents IT environment, configuration, inventory, software, licenses and processes

* Maintains the Court websites

* Knowledge of computer and server operating systems in a LAN/WAN environment. Understanding of local and wide area networking. Ability to support desktop applications and computer/server hardware. Strong analytical skills. Strong customer service orientation. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, when conveying technical ideas to non-technical people. Strong organizational skills. Ability to train others. Ability to work as part of an information technology team.

* Microsoft or other job-related certifications are desirable.
