Our client, is seeking an Import / Exports clerk to join their team. As a International Clerk, you will be part of the shipping/ receiving department supporting warehouse team,. The ideal candidate will have shipping logistics experience, communication and critical thinking which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Import/ Export Clerk
Location: East El Paso, TX ( Ysleta Area)
Pay Range: $14-$15hr
What’s the Job?
- Managed freight bookings using a computer system
- Checks order, tax and customs documents are correct
- Works closely with national and international suppliers and agents
- Arranges freight deliveries and collections between ports, airports and warehouses
- Handles invoices and payments
- Customer Service for all imports in a high- pressure environment
- Prepared entry packs for US Customs, Traffic and Dispatch, processed checks for local terminals, distribution centers and trucks.
- Handled all import documents, tracing US Customs, steamship companies, air lines, warehouse personnel and all incoming cargo.
