Job Description

Our manufacturing client just 15 minutes north of BARRIE, ON is in need of Industrial Electricians to join their team. If you're looking to join a company that values your work and offers a competitive wage with great benefits and pension, then read on!



The Perks:



* $42/hr + OT after 8hrs

* shift premiums of $1.15 and $1.40/hr

The Role:



* Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand or power tools.

* Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

* Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.

* Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures using hand tools or power tools.

* Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.

* Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.

* Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.



You Bring:

* 442A or 309A + 3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing

environment.

* Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment, including measuring devices and power tools, and testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps.

* Demonstrated ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, and make necessary repairs.

* Demonstrated ability to predict when improvements are required on routine or normal procedures due to production needs or demands.

* Demonstrated ability reading and interpreting Electrical drawings, Maintenance Manuals and Bills of Material for any machine or equipment.
