Manpower is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist for a well known defense company in Fort Worth!

Pay Rate Range $25 + (DOE)

Contract position 6 months

Hours Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4:30 , wknds or after hours may be necessary

Industrial Security Specialist II

Key Accountabilities

*Interpret DoD, DHS, ATF, other governmental and local security policies and provides guidance to employees as needed.

*Maintain situational awareness and enforce Security policies related to the protection of classified and controlled unclassified information.

*Centrally manage and maintain document control, personnel records, briefings, contracts, and other such security assets within SIMS to enforce and maintain accountability.

*Initiate, track, review and submit all initial clearances, periodic reinvestigations and nomination packages in accordance with NISPOM and program requirements.

*Manage all personnel security paperwork for accuracy, completion, and submission.

*Process individual's fingerprints for clearance processing.

*Manage JPAS and DISS personnel clearance databases; perform indoctrinations, debriefings and out-processing to ensure personnel security clearances are processed efficiently and that data is consistent across both systems.

*Submit incident reports in JPAS and DISS as required.

*Conduct security related employee briefings to include courier, closed area, program access, OPSEC, Insider Threat, derivative classification, foreign travel, and routine annual security trainings.

*Administer and track to completion all annual DoD and program security briefings to existing cleared personnel.

*Ensure compliance for all subcontractors and consultants.

*Document internal department work instructions for personnel security functions across all programs.

*Maintain classified document control, coordinate reviews with subject matter experts and conduct inventories.

*Maintain restricted and closed area rosters, coordinate access with area supervisors.

*Other duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills

*Must have the ability to professionally interface effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.

*Must have working knowledge of NISPOM and applicable United States Government policies.

*Must possess good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).

*Must have good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

*Must be able to perform other duties, responsibilities and activities as assigned.

*1-3 years of experience assisting in developing, strategizing, implementing, and managing security programs within the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).

*High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred.

*Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain clearance required.

*Possess working understanding of the NISPOM and other related government regulations applicable to U.S. Government collateral programs.

*CDSE FSO Program Management certification.

*Working knowledge of DCSA Information Systems (JPAS, NISS and DISS at minimum).

*Experience with access control systems such as SIMS or equivalent system.
