Job Description

* Collaborator. Supporter. Concise Communicator.

The Insurance Claim Processor role processes complex claim handling without technical claim related activities within established quality, productivity and process standards on specific losses as directed by management or a claim adjuster. The individual handles a single line of claims or a combination of claims from different segments. The individual is also expected to deliver compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, to ensure customer retention.

Bring your High School Diploma (or GED) along with your previous insurance experience preferred. Total loss salvage claim experience highly preferred. Title procurement and cross state knowledge preferred. Previous experience in either customer service and/or a related professional work environment highly preferred.

You will be expected to:

* Have good organizational skills with timely follow-up skills.

* Possess good oral and written communication skills.

* Have knowledge of Excel.

* Perform high complexity task work under general supervision.

* Make and maintain a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs.

* Receive, screen and route incoming telephone calls and other electronic correspondence.

* Contact or receive contact from customers or other claim related third parties to obtain and/or provide necessary file information to comply with quality and process standards.

* Generate and send appropriate forms to insured/claimant for completion.

* Complete all necessary forms, logs documents into the system, and route them to the appropriate parties.

* Identify barriers through work-stream processes.
