Job Description

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible to ensure that all inventories at the center is properly accounted for by adhering to company policy regarding inventory receipt, induction, valuation, adjustments and organization. The inventory coordinator's overall goal is to reduce un-reserved and slow-moving inventory on hand, thus reducing overall inventory expenses.

What is the job?



* Ensuring Proper Levels of Inventory on Hand

* Reducing Overstock and Inherited Inventory

* Controlling inventory movement in and out of the Center by

* Ensuring that all inventory leaving the center is properly and accurately recorded either by an associated system transaction (usage, billing, in-transit etc.) or logged properly in either a demo or rental log. No inventory should be released for shipment, delivery or another individual unless the transaction is properly recorded.

* Inducting inventory upon physical receipt of goods.

* Maintaining Proper Classification & Valuation of Inventory

* Conducting Test Cycle Counts- Physical Inventory

* Labeling of all equipment in the warehouse

* Recording All rental/loaner Inventory properly

* Organizing the Warehouse

* Warehouse Management Includes:

* Warehouse should be clean and neat

* Items should be easily accessible

* All items must be tagged

* Items should be in category order in the warehouse for easy picking

* Reducing Adjustments

* Received items must be checked 100% for item quantity and description accuracy.

* Receiving discrepancies and damaged goods received must be processed through the receiving process until disposition is determined.

* Properly processing returns to vendors and ensuring all customer credits are processed in a timely fashion.

* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.



What you bring to the job?



* High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.

* Prior Inventory experience is preferred.

* Logistics experience, self-directed and dependable.
