Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE …



As the Raw Material Team Lead you will be responsible for maintaining an accurate Inventory tracking for raw materials in all internal locations.



WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING …



* Inventory management, receiving, internal distribution, and production support

* Maintain all inventory transaction records and systems information

* Perform inventory cycle counts and reconciliations (written records and system information)

* Support inventory procedures and controls by counting, cleaning, organizing, labeling, and stocking materials

* Plan and Schedule internal deliveries

* Read orders and ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise in order to accurately pick and distribute raw goods

* Daily/frequent communication with management

* Uphold all health and safety policies/standards

* Identify and communicate health and safety related concerns to management/H&S Reps

* Coordinate with management and support training/and cross-training of Material Handlers

* Support operational goals/standards, effectively using systems, escalation processes, and inventory control procedures.

* Participate in daily production meetings and encourage communication

* Ensure FIFO and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) are followed

* All other duties as assigned



YOUR ENVIRONMENT …



* Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment

* Able to lift (occasionally) up to 50 lbs

* Perform tasks in outdoor and indoor multi-temperature environments

* Walking, sitting, standing required consistently

* Crouching, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling required frequently

YOU'LL OFFER …



* High School Diploma or higher

* 2-5 years working in a warehouse environment or operation experience

* 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role

* Proficient in using all Microsoft Office programs and MRP/WMS systems.

* Ability to understand and communicate policies and procedures to team members to ensure compliance

* Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

* Able to obtain a valid forklift license

* Able to support overtime and weekend work at short notice

* Able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and function in stressful situations with a sense of urgency in achieving goals
