Jr Maintenance Position open in Bellingham!

Schedule/ Pay:

Day & Night shifts available ( 6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am)

Rotating Pittman Schedule

$19/ hour for days - $19.50/ hour for nigh shift



Job Duties:

* Repair and replace electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and electronic components such as motors, contractors, relays, timers, types of switches, PLCs, light curtains, motor controls and valves under direction of Team Lead/ Supervisor

* Recognize and diagnose faults on electrical equipment or systems, which may involve complex interlocking, interrelated circuits, integrated systems and complex sequencing

* Examine, install, replace and repair electronic wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components

* Maintain/ Perform Repairs on production equipment to maximize operating performance

* Perform installation, set up, modification and relocation of equipment to accommodate or improve production requirements

* Read electrical and electronic schematics/diagrams, basic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams

* Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance

* Ensure production schedule is not jeopardized due to machine break down, or unsafe operating conditions and inform Team Lead/ Supervisor about changes in electric circuits and update original diagrams

* Always follow LOCK OUT procedure



Skills/ Experience:

*** 1 year related experience or schooling in this specific field preferred

* Troubleshooting experience with electrical & mechanical equipment, PLC systems, Robots, AC drives, DC drives, servo drives, motion control, HMI interface, motor controls, safety sensors, and relays

* Able to read wiring diagrams, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics and ladder/function block logic

* Theoretical knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat, etc.) and electric circuitry consisting of contractors, relays, main voltage/control voltage, limit switches and proximity sensors

* Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Systems
