CNC Machinist: $18-20/hr

What is the job?

- Afternoon shift from 3:30pm to 2am , Monday-Thursday

- CNC Machinists are specially trained to program, operate and maintain CNC Machines

- Setup machines capable of cutting, bending, forming and polishing raw metal to finished parts

- Read and interpret blueprints

- Monitor production and quality

- Use hand and power tools, and measurement instruments

What do you bring to this job?

- To qualify for this new program, you must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

- Some experience using CNC machines (lathes and mills)

- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

- Enjoy working in a hands-on physical environment

- Willingness to learn and grow in your career

Qualified candidates will be trained and certified through the WBLC CNC Machinist [Level 1] Program, partially funded by the Government of Ontario under the Skills Catalyst Fund of the Ministry of Labor, Training & Skills Development.
