Job Description

Our client in Scarborough, ON that specializes in the design and installation of CCTV systems and video solutions for the fast-food restaurant industry is growing and starting a new division in subscription-based sales to help grow sales in Canada and the US by adding a Lead Generator role.

In this role, you will develop phone-based revenue generation by establishing rapport with existing/potential customers using your exceptional telephone sales and communications skills. The primary responsibility of this role is the development of data analyses that lead to actionable insights for the purpose of increasing business value.

The Role:

Data mining from multiple sources to create a prospect list

Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects by conducting research to find new leads

Cold-call/email prospects to qualify the lead; identify decision makers to begin sales process

Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales; answer product questions through product knowledge

Collaborate with internal stakeholders leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations

Analyze competitive information to inform Marketing leaders and make recommendations in support of strategic decisions.

You Bring:

Passion for leveraging and interpreting data to drive significant business impact

Critical thinking skills to recognize patterns and anomalies in data and arrive at new conclusions based upon findings

Effective communication skills both verbal and written to communicate complex findings and ideas in logical, easy to understand and actionable language.

Proficient in SQL with the ability to write queries for data mining and sourcing

Attention to detail and vigilant about drawing the correct conclusions

A team player with the ability and desire to collaborate effectively with stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or related field OR demonstrated analytical and technical ability

More than 2 years of experience as an analyst supporting marketing functions and initiatives

Experience working in a data driven digital sales & marketing environment

Experience working with Google Analytics is a plus

Knowledge of statistical tools like R, SAS, SPSS or Excel Add ins (Data Analysis/Solver) or similar is a plus
