Lead Maintenance Technician- Awesome Career Opportunity with a great company

In coordination with the Facilities Manager, assigns and monitors the daily work tasks of the maintenance team. Performs repairs and maintains building systems and equipment to ensure operational continuity and to mitigate unexpected disruptions. Ensures that facility maintenance projects are communicated and coordinated with multiple departments to minimize disruption and maximize project timelines.

What will you do in this role?

* Assists the Facilities Manager with planning, prioritizing, assigning, and monitoring the daily tasks of the maintenance staff responsible for facility upkeep.

* Repairs, replaces and maintains building systems and equipment to support production.

* Manages vendors during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.) and ensures that vendors are in compliance with Sechan's security and safety protocols.

* Inspects and maintains building utility systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing).

* Assists facilities manager in gathering information and proposals for facility repairs and projects and assists in the creation of the facility maintenance budget by submitting budget recommendations and monitoring expenditures.

* Maintains documentation to ensure compliance with the internal and external regulatory requirements.

* Assists the facilities manager in developing goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures, monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

* Develops and organizes preventative maintenance and safety inspection programs for facilities and equipment.

* Monitors inventory of maintenance and operational materials and equipment.

* Responds to after-hours emergencies as required.

* Performs duties in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner and adhers to quality standards and health and safety regulations.

What do you bring?

* Knowledge of and experience in HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

* Knowledge of health & safety practices and OSHA and facility regulations

* Strong organizational and planning abilities

* Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

* Strong verbal and written communication skills
