Legal Assistant in Portland, Maine



Pay: Based on Experience

Schedule: M-F 8:30a-5p

Assignment Length: Direct Hire

Duties:

* Opening and setting up new files

* Assisting attorney/paralegal with closing document preparation

* Drafting and editing title commitment packages and title policies

* Providing back up to bookkeeper with general bookkeeping tasks



Requirements:

* Must have the ability to juggle more than one project at a time

* Communication skills, attention to detail, and flexibility required

* Microsoft Office skills

* 1+ year experience in law setting preferred
