Manpower is currently seeking first shift production line leads to work in Mechanicsburg.

Pay: $18/hour PLUS weekly attendance bonuses!!

As a line leader, you lead a production team and is responsible for product quality, line efficiency and safety. Assembles and embellishes products into special packs, pallets displays, and custom packages for our base products. Operates line equipment, performs quality inspections and ensures safety practices are followed in the operation.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



* Fills out production paperwork clearly and accurately.

* Performs line clearance checks for each assigned project area and performs hourly quality checks to insure builds accurately follow bill of material and assembly instructions.

* Determines work assignments for teammates and makes necessary rotation changes throughout day to maximize efficiency.

* Operates line equipment (i.e. labelers, case formers, tape machines, shrink bundling equipment and case packers) requiring starting/stopping equipment and clearing jams.

* Determines necessary materials to build the special packs and communicates demand requirement to material handlers without production disruption.

* Trains teammates on manual operations inserting dividers, forming shippers, case packaging, and stacking finished cases.

* Ensures line is clear of all materials at end of each production run.

* Maintains work area in a neat and organized fashion and reports any unsafe conditions.

* Follows all appropriate safety procedures.

* Follows required FDA and GMP guidelines when handling these products.
