Job Description

Our client, a world class CPG manufacturer is looking for a Logistics Deductions Analyst to work on a short term project.

In this Logistics Deductions Contract role, you will be assisting in a project which includes obtaining backup, validating and sending to process to a third-party logistics related deductions. You will provide instructions to the BPO team (third party) to carry out transactional activities and will work closely with local supply chain and customer service teams to validate the deductions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review and manage deductions related to logistics (fines, short shipments, allowances)

* Source deductions backup and update notes on deductions in SAP/offline tracker

* Research the validity of the deduction by using SAP or carrier web sites, customers vendor portals for ex. Walmart, Sobeys, Metro, Costco

* If invalid issue a charge back to customer and ensure you collect on the invalid amount

* Issue settlement instructions to BPO

* Record the notes related to the deductions in SAP/offline tracker

* Ensure all that was sent to BPO to clear is completed within 24 hrs

* Contribute to achieving KPI of department on aging deductions - 0 over 30 days

* Work with internal/external stakeholders including Financial Shared Services, Key Account Managers, Local Finance and BPO to proactively resolve issues and queries


* An undergraduate degree/diploma and have at least 1-2 year's logistics experience.

* Prior experience and knowledge of handling logistics and any other type of deductions

* Experience with SAP, Excel skills and financial knowledge
