MACHINE BUILDER! (BENTON HARBOR, MICHIGAN)
We are seeking an experienced MACHINE BUILDER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, be self-motivated, and have a strong ability to learn.

What will you be doing?
* Fits and assembles components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, sketches and has the knowledge of machine construction to construct, rebuild and repair machines and equipment, using hand tools and power tools
* Sets up and operates metalworking machines, such as milling and grinding machines, to shape or fabricate parts
* Verifies the conformance of parts to the engineering stock list and blueprints by using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
* May be required to layout hole locations on their own to drill and tap holes on parts for the assembly process
* Aligns mechanical components for assembly, manually or with or with a hoist
* Bolts, screws, dowels, welds, or rivets parts together using hand tools, rivet gun and welding equipment or coordinates with a welder or electrician to complete this work
* Before beginning fabrication, the machine builder must be able to interpret the parts design from blueprints
What do you bring?
* Positive, can do attitude
* 2+ Years of prior machine building experience
* Must have the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
* ASME drawing standards
* PLC knowledge is a plus
* Robot knowledge
* Experience with SolidWorks CAD & Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
