Our client in West Union, SC is looking for hard working individuals who love to operate industrial machinery for the production of car batteries. The ideal candidate will set up, operate, or tend machines to roll steel or plastic forming bends, beads, knurls, rolls, or plate or to flatten, temper, or reduce gauge of material in order to make car batteries. 

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Seneca, SC

Pay Range: $18-20 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Operate machinery to make lead grids to inserted into battery casings
• Operate casting machines to for lead into slabs for use in making grids
• Operate milling machine to shape and cut lead slabs
    

What’s Needed?

• Steel toed boots
• Able to wear a respirator while working
• Able to work 12 hour shifts
• 2 on 2 off  3 on schedule
• Able to consistently lift up to 40 lbs
