Manufacturing Operator I Middletown, VA Shift: 1st (6:30am - 3:00pm) and 2nd shift (6:00pm to 6:30am 2-2-3 Schedule) Overtime and weekends as needed How will you make an impact? The Middletown site manufactures in vitro diagnostic reagents, controls and calibrators, which are used in conjunction with clinical diagnostic instrumentation.

What will you do?

• Responsible for the day to day management of operations with the work area to include work load and work assignments of employees in the area

• Provide clear and timely communication to Team Leader or Supervisor on issues, concerns and metric attainment

• Works alone or with other technicians performs filling, labeling and/or packaging of products.

• Ability to successfully perform a equipment/line changeover

• Comply with GMP, ISO 13485 guidelines and company SOPs

• Must be able to complete and understand production paper work with minimal to no errors, up to and including product reconciliation, label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, torque checks, etc.

• Ability to successfully perform a line opening and line closing

• Must be able to conduct a formal review of all documentation/records for completion

• Completely signed off on assigned area of responsibility

• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, machines, glassware or equipment as needed or directed, if required in work area.

• Operates and/or monitors equipment and makes necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results, if required in work area.

• Oversees and monitors progress of temporary employees

• Must be able to interface and communicate effectively with work groups to ensure completion of tasks and projects.

• Must be able to work in a fast- paced environment with changing priorities

• Train assigned employees on assigned operations in the area

• Manage and maintain daily management boards

• Promotes a safe work environment Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
