Do you have machine operator experience and seeking full time employment?



No weekend work it is Monday to Friday.



We are currently recruiting for a Machine operator for a bakery company in the Brampton area.



Day/Aft pay rate $18.20 per hour pay rate, includes 4% vacation pay

Night pay rate $18.98 per hour pay rate, includes 4% vacation pay

Paid weekly, every Friday with plus 4% vacation pay

Temp to perm



Under the general supervision of the Area Leader, Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager; the Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring the equipment is operated correctly by utilizing monitors and gauges on the equipment. He/she will organize and lead the process and team on the line to ensure good quality product is produced at all time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Review the daily production schedule.

* Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment.

* Regularly monitor that the product conforms to quality specifications.

* Use SPC weight control system to check weights are deposited as per specification.

* Responsible for proper cleaning equipment.

* Regularly co-ordinate with other Machine Operators on the line.

* Ensuring quality of products on the line.

* Responsible for Mixer responsibilities and following the Mixer processes when providing coverage.

* Responsible to work on the line as a general production worker when necessary.

* Responsible for documentation and administration reports.

* Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety.

* Responsible for other reasonable duties as assigned by the Area Leader/Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.



QUALIFICATIONS:

* Completion of high school education or equivalent;

* 1-3 years of manufacturing experience; asset of food and dairy manufacturing industry;

* Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.

* Sound technical skills.

* Demonstrates problem solving and decision-making skills.

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

* Flexibility to work rotating and/or weekend shifts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
