Our client in Seabrook has openings for Maintenance/Facility Technician. A great opportunity with a GREAT company!



Pay: $30.00 to $35.00 DOE



Shift:



1st shift M-F 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

* The Maintenance Safety Technician assumes responsibility and accountability to maintain the facility physical plant for a state-of-the art manufacturing facility in an efficient and economic manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* What will you be doing:



* Perform preventive maintenance on all production equipment according to schedule.

* Schedule and keep track of all preventive maintenance done by outside contractors for non-production equipment.

* Keep good records of work performed and preventive maintenance completed on all machinery.

* Take care of all facility maintenance tasks that may be required to ensure a safe and functional workplace.

* Work closely with the safety team to ensure all safety concerns are corrected in a timely manner.

* Know what your responsibilities are as maintenance personnel in the event of emergency or evacuation.

* Keep track of maintenance inventory and order any parts or supplies that you may need to either maintain or repair machinery and/or the facility.

* Diagnose any mechanical and electrical problems with machinery and coordinate with production team to get all machine issues fixed in a timely manner.

* Work closely with the equipment manufacturer to ensure all new machinery is kept in the best possible condition.

* Keep track of and respond to all work orders turned into you by fellow employees or management.

* Must plan out, coordinate, and prioritize all work and projects to ensure that the machine and facility maintenance needs are met in a timely manner.











Education and Experience:



* Technical associate degree or high school diploma and relevant experience.

* 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility setting.

* Ability to use hand or power tools to preform repairs on different types of equipment.

* Ability to operate different types of machinery such as forklifts and man lifts in order to complete maintenance tasks.

* Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and systems.

* Must be able to use electrical meter and feel comfortable working with electrical systems that run off 120v, 208v, and 480v.

* Knowledge of how to run wire and install new basic electrical circuits and breakers.

* Experience with HVAC systems, air compressors, and plumbing is required.

* Must be proficient in trouble shooting mechanical and electrical issues with machinery.

* Must be able to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to diagnose and repair machines.

* Needs to have advanced knowledge and experience with mechanical components such as gear boxes, chains, belts, and bearings.

* Experience working on 5-axis CNC machines is a huge plus.
