Maintenance Leads - (hands-on position)

Roles Available:



* Afternoon shift or

* Midnight shift



The Role: Supervise & work alongside all maintenance personnel on shift





* Assist maintenance staff (on the tools) with maintenance issues and/or new projects, with minimum interruption to production.

* Estimate, schedule, and execute the PM program for all equipment.

* Source all parts and components

* Actively participate in the design, development, and/or implementation of latest technologies to improve productivity and/or quality.

* Perform all maintenance and repair work in either plant or grounds.

* Review daily production schedules and instruct operators in job set-up.

* Document all work orders in the system on a daily basis.

* Oversee all maintenance work orders and keep up to date with all required paperwork.

* Track all vacation requests for the shift and arrange coverage for all absences.

* Make recommendations to improve equipment efficiency and cost reduction.

* Assist the manager in monitoring employee performance. This includes employee problem solving ability, safety behaviors, and work habits. Assist in the completion of employee appraisals as required.



You Bring:

* Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadhand position in a manufacturing environment.

* A license in the trades is an asset (i.e. Electrician, Millwright).

* Good knowledge of electrical basics and PLCs.
