Job Description
Our client, a well-known American cosmetics company, is seeking Maintenance Mechanics to join their team for 2nd & 3rd shift. As a Production Maintenance Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and machinery. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the Production areas. This position’s primary function is to ensure machinery and equipment in the facility remains in good working order to optimize productivity and efficiencies.

What’s the Job?
· Perform preventative maintenance on equipment located in all serviced departments.
· Work directly online with employees to develop efficient, effective setups, changeovers and operation of equipment.
· Assist line personnel in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
· Maintains, installs, operates, sets up, and tests all types of plant equipment.
· Must be able to utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and understand the concept and follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
What’s Needed?
· Strong English ability – understanding, reading, writing and speaking
· Experience with automation applications in an industrial manufacturing setting.
· High School Diploma or its equivalent; and an associate degree in a related maintenance field
· Ability to stand and walk majority of an 8-hour shift
· Ability to perform physical movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 40-pounds)
