Maintenance Mechanic in Biddeford, Maine
Pay: $20-$35 per hour
Schedule: M-F 7a-3:30p

Duties:
* Diagnosing, repairing, and calibrating daily maintenance/system issues
* Performing routine and scheduled maintenance on equipment and tools
* Participating in the manufacturing process and assisting in the operation of process equipment
* Assisting with electrical maintenance and repair work
* Coordinating with outside contractors
* Providing support for major projects and construction
* Responding to building emergencies and working with production operators
* Supporting and cooperating with Lean Improvement and safety practices and initiatives
* Participating in daily maintenance meetings to prioritize and assign work
Requirements:
* Availability after hours on a rotating schedule to cover nights and weekends
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 5+ years of industrial mechanical experience
* Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision as well as with a team
* Ability to read and write in English - reading blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
* Experience using hand, power, hydraulic, pneumatic, and autoclave valves
* Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear a respirator
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Great attention to detail
* Working knowledge of electrical systems & safety
