Job Description

Manpower is recruiting for a Temporary Management Analyst for the State of Florida in Tallahassee, FL! You will perform high level Administrative and Budget Analysis.

This position will provide process improvement, operational, and quality assurance support to the DEPCS Budget Manager and other Director's Office staff. You will serve as a Management Analyst and will be responsible for researching and analyzing budget, purchasing and revenue data, conducting organizational studies and evaluations, and preparing operations and procedures manuals and reports to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.

What will you be doing?

*Research and gather information and create forms and reports necessary to ensure DEPCS meets budget, procurement and finance & accounting standards.

*Analyze and interpret statutes, rules, policies and procedures, business or financial data and other data gathered. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

*Develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding, standards, templates, plans, policies and procedures, and reports.

*Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.

*Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.

*Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes of forms and reports.

*Advise others on business or operational matters.

Gather organizational performance information.

*Estimate quantities; or determine time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.

*Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

*Monitor and control resources and oversee the spending of money.

*Schedule events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.

*Handle clerical and administrative duties; Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
