Job Description

Manpower is currently seeking a Manager, Construction - Vendor & Contract Management for a permanent opportunity located in Calgary, Alberta.

What will you be doing?

* Understands contractual terms and conditions, and their commercial implications to the business in order to effectively manage vendor agreement(s) and relationships

* Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal partners and vendor(s) to ensure business priorities requirements are clearly understood and met, and objectives are aligned

* Manages vendor relationship to business' strategic goals and objectives, understanding and reconciling competing priorities and evolving business requirements

* Develops and monitors team objectives, financial targets, and operating budgets

* Maintains key customer and outside vendor relationships and ensure exceptional products and services are being delivered

What will you bring?

* University degree in Agriculture, Business, or relevant field required

* Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction/building industry

* Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office required

* Prior experience managing a project execution team with a proven track record of success

* Strong time management capabilities, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and objectives

* Class 5 driver's license required
