Manager, Talent Acquisition

Are you innovative, tenacious, and confident? Manpower has an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Manager for our client located in Burnaby, BC.

What are the responsibilities of this role?

- Identifying opportunities to improve the candidate experience, increase hiring efficiency, and reduce costs.

- Integrating the use of new hiring platforms to increase the applicant pool.

- Evaluating the effectiveness of the hiring process to determine if recruiting objectives have been achieved.

- Providing the Director of Human Resources with timely updates on selection activities and the Recruiting team's performance.

- Reviewing job requisitions to confirm the accuracy of all information.

- Assisting with full-cycle recruiting as required

- Managing the company's applicant tracking system (ATS)

- Advising hiring managers on required qualifications and providing compensation suggestion for new positions.

- Setting guidelines and expectations for the company's recruiting activities.

- Organizing and distributing responsibilities to ensure that the workloads for all Recruiters are manageable.

- Coaching and providing guidance to the Recruiting team to develop their interviewing and note taking techniques.

- Creating and providing Recruiters with well-researched resources and materials to support their progress.

What do you bring to this role?

- Degree in a related field such as Human Resources, Commerce, Psychology or Business Administration

- At least 8 years of related experience in talent acquisition and full cycle recruiting

- Minimum of 2 years in a people management position

- Equivalent sales experience and acumen would be an asset.

- Knowledge of recruitment, employee development, performance management, compensation, benefits, policy development and implementation, employment and human rights legislation

- Expert knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting and social media platforms

- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or working on its completion is strongly preferred

- Advanced oral and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation.

- Aptitude for providing leadership, direction, coaching, and support.

- Proven ability to develop and align strategy in support of business initiatives and growth

- Excellent organizational and project management skills

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
