Job Description

This is a 90 day assignment, Hours are 6:30am-2:30pm willing to train the right person. These are not difficult jobs, but are repetitive and can be tedious. Fine motor skills and dexterity are key.

JOB SUMMARY:

High school diploma or equivalency diploma

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to read and write English.

Must be able to identify parts that do not meet quality requirements using appropriate

tools.

Must be able to work as part of a team or independently as required.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Candidate will successfully perform the following procedures:

ISO… will successfully perform the following functions under the general supervision of the manager or group leader:

Operates clicker press cutting out parts from piles or sheets of coated fabric,

calendered rubber stock, coated or cemented fabric, gasket material, etc.

Prepares material as necessary before clicker cutting by unrolling from roll,

cutting into sheets, laying up into piles or plies, etc.

May separate sheets or piles with plastic sheet, releasing paper, corrugated

board, etc. which may be hand cut by operator to needed size.

Carries plies or stack of materials from makeup table, etc. to press. Places

material on press bed. Places dye on material and swings clicker press head

over dye.

Centers and releases head which forces dye through and cuts material.

Operator then removes cut out parts from dye and moves clicker dye to next

location and repeats operation.

Positions dye so as to get the highest yield from material being cut, places cut

parts from dye and moves clicker dye to next location and repeats operation of

dye or machine to supervisor.

Determines procure for production by testing and evaluating.

Gauges material for proper specification.

Examines material before cutting to determine acceptable quality prior to cutting.

Informs supervisor or any problems with material or quality.

Works with in-process quality control in establishing acceptable limits.

Follows safety practices and maintains good housekeeping.

Reports any unsafe conditions found in the plant.

Fills out requisitions and report forms in accordance with company policy and

procedure.

Performs all duties as assigned by manager, supervisor and/or group leader.

Has the ability to take own initiative to fully utilize time.
