Job Description

Position Summary/ Objectives



The temporary Manufacturing Assistant will be responsible for assisting with routine maintenance, cleaning and other manufacturing-related activities. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of manufacturing processes (or the willingness to learn) and can support the strategic and operational objectives of the business.



Essential Job Functions:

* Cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing equipment including glassware and equipment parts

* Routine cleaning and sanitization of the clean rooms and manufacturing areas

* Maintain and calibrate production equipment in accordance with equipment schedules

* Participate in filling and packaging of medical devices

* Maintain adequate inventory of manufacturing supplies and requisition additional materials as needed

* Assist manufacturing personnel with specific processes as required

* Reads and follows all applicable SOPs and Batch Records

* Ensure that general facility housekeeping and maintenance is kept at adequate levels

* Follows all cGMP and safety requirements

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.



Education, Experience and Certification:

● Requires a High School Diploma or GED

● Previous experience in a cGMP environment or clean-room is highly desirable

● Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

● Ability to follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision
