Job Description

What is the Job?

* Operate required automated manufacturing equipment which could include label makers, presses, drills, prep equipment

* Process repairs on assemblies within a specified customer time frame

* Assemble fully documented and released assemblies and subassemblies to meet quality and productivity standards

* Perform inspection of raw materials and products to ensure acceptability and usage in our assemblies and products

* Assist in troubleshooting and testing of processes/products

* Perform rejects of parts on the line

* Perform transactions on corporate computer inventory control system

* Approve quality and acceptability of products/subassemblies that have been produced

* Reject defective material

* Make recommendations to Manufacturing Engineering on process/product problems and improvements How will you get here.

What do you bring to the Job?

* High school diploma, HSED or GED from an accredited school or program

* 2 years' experience in equipment operation

* Must be able to communicate information with others

* Good problem-solving skills

* Great organizational skills

* Proficient with basic assembly equipment/processes used in department

* Follow written Manufacturing Details (MFD's).

* Requires assembly skills of electronic assemblies (i.e., hand soldering, inspection, documentation and part number interpretation, wire crimping, and basic hand tool usage)

* Ability to work independently

* Ability to take ownership for general processes/products
