Marine Technician ($24- $47 )

What will you be doing? - Inspect, maintain and repair of different types of boats
- Complete pre-delivery and final delivery inspections
- Test and repair inboard and outboard engines, hulls, propellers, navigational systems, electrical systems, steering gears, and boat accessories using various diagnostic equipment
- Work with the CSR’s to provide proper diagnostic information and labour quotes
- Complete all internal documentation for evaluations and warranty work
- Complete assigned work order in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor workflow to determine if scheduled time will be met or if an adjustment is needed to stay in budget
- Work closely with parts to obtain requirements needed to complete the job (both in stock and ordered parts)
- Maintain up to date knowledge on new and emerging technologies in marine service
- Work closely with Location Manager to create a personalized training plan
- All other duties as assigned
What do you Bring - Experience in the Marine or Automotive industry considered an asset
- Pleasure Craft Operator Card required
- Able to work irregular hours during peak periods including weekends
- Ability to lift, push, kneel and reach, including in high locations
- Ability to work on and off site as required
- Able to work in variable work environments and conditions
- Ability to work independently when required
- Health & Safety conscious
- Ability to mentor Apprentice Marine Technicians
Maine Mechanic experience atleast 1 year preferred
