Job Description
Our client, Schindler Elevator, is seeking Forklift Operators and Assemblers to join their team. As forklift operator and assembler, you will be part of the Shipping, Receiving team. Assemblers will assemble elevator and escalator parts. Mechanical assembly experience is preferred. If you have assembler, forklift, material handler, shipping, warehouse experience, you are encouraged to apply!
Job Title: 1st & 3rd shifts available
1st shift: 7am to 330pm, 5am to 130pm, 9am to 530pm M-F
3rd shift: 1030pm to 7am Sun-Thurs
Location: York PA
Pay rates between $18 to $19.50/hr

Working with elevator parts

Forklift operators will be operating a forklift moving around the different elevator parts. Also, assist out on the warehouse floor when needed.

Work from manufacturing information, material lists, requisitions, written and/or oral instructions.

Prepare for shipment completed equipment, accessory and service parts and assure parts on products are properly loaded for shipment.

Assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.
