Material Handler II Duties:
On-site in Milpitas (local candidates only)
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
Lifts heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and may operate a forklift (forklift certification is useful).
Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Prepares kitting packages for internal assembly production.
Skills:
In this position, the individual will be responsible for day to day activities in the Test Engineering inventory room.
This includes issuing and receiving material, cycle counts, and preparing kits for in-house test equipment and PCB assembly builds.
This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the inventory room database (MUST have attention to detail).
The individual will also need to interface with the off-site storage facility for pick-up and retrieval of material related to Test Equipment Engineering.
This position will act as the primary interface between the Material and Build teams, providing all of the components needed for the numerous and complex test equipment builds to the technicians.
The individual will need to play a role in policing inventory outflows in order to maintain inventory accuracy.
This position will also be required to transport, uncrate and deliver capital engineering equipment to the engineering labs. Should be comfortable walking in between various buildings on campus.
- Basic Microsoft Office (should have basic knowledge of Excel) -

Education: 1 - 2 years of relevant experience preferred
