Job Description

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Supervisor and/or Lead, operate fork truck, electric/manual pallet jack to transport and load components and materials. Prepare all materials for production and remove/dispose of all waste materials and rejects. Operate the resin handling system, blow molder loader/hopper equipment, ring molder loader/hopper equipment and grinder.


* Ensure coordination between shifts through daily communication with Supervisors/Leads

* Operate fork truck, and electric/manual pallet jack

* Ensure the fork truck and pallet jacks are charged, and ready for use at all times.

* Transportation and movement of product pallets

* Load materials into the different pieces of equipment as required by the position.

* Perform manual material handling tasks as needed.

* Coordinate tasks with supporting departments

* Operate Conair resin handling equipment, blow molder loader/hopper equipment, and ring molder loader/hopper equipment through HMI and control panels.

* Operate material grinder

* Review and/or complete production documentation (i.e. Production Records and logbooks) in a timely fashion with a high degree of accuracy in accordance with company policies/procedures and cGMP/GDP (current Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Documentation Practice).

* Participation with Kaizens/Katas

* Participate in 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) events

* Assist maintenance with performing simple tasks

* Work overtime as needed/required

* Other duties as assigned


* High School diploma/GED

* Hand/Power Truck operation certification

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

* Ability to read, write, understand, and effectively communicate job related information in English

* Must be able to read and understand operator interface terminals and control systems

* Must be able to read, understand and perform duties as described in departmental procedures

* Must be able to clearly document activities in production records and equipment logbooks
