Job Description

SHIFT : 8:00AM - 5:30PM SUN-THURS



Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including maintenance tasks, working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub assemblies, and final assemblies. Use programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Must be flexible to work any shift as needed.



A brief summary of the purpose this position must fulfill. Responsible for setups, repairs, and maintaining of the packaging and support equipment.



QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and/or ability required.



1. KNOWLEDGE

a. Knowledge of automated flexible packaging equipment in a GMP driven environment.

2. SKILLS AND ABILITY



a. Thermoforming / Blistering experience preferred.

b. Good written and verbal communication skills.

c. Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

a. Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.

b. Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.

c. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.

d. Ability to read and interpret general business documents.

e. Ability to work with and direct peers and communicate basic concepts.

f. Demonstrate abilities with machine and equipment adjustments, problem solving and major repair and rebuild project work. (Pharmaceutical industry or specialized area, if applicable.)

g. Ability to use precision electronic and electromechanical testing and measuring instruments.

h. Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, complicated blueprints or drawings and handbook formulas, electrical drawings, and software programs.

i. Thorough knowledge of soldering methods, use of meters and test equipment.

j. Ability to work any shift as business demands including non normal business days.

Flexible - we operate Sun - Fri 24/6. As this is a facilities/maintenance role individual needs to be flexible to support the operation. Normal schedule is M-F 8 a.m.-5:30p.m. but again flexibility is critical
