Our client in the food industry is seeking a Microbiology Lab Tech to join their team. As an Microbiology Lab Tech, you will be part of the micro team. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, adaptable and willing to learn new things, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Microbiology Lab Tech
Location: Vernon, CA
Pay Rate (or Pay Range, if required): $20/hr.
What’s the Job?
- Prepare, review, and report results of microbiological analyses
- Proactively maintain and document records per established procedures
- Identify and communicate results that require further investigation or discussion with the Department Manager/Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
What’s Needed? - Minimum B.S. in Food Science, microbiology, or any science degree
- Preferred experience with Laboratory
- Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of a food testing laboratory
- 2 -3 years’ experience in food manufacturing plant performing quality or analytical procedures related to production
