Job Description

Our client in BARRIE, ON area that specializes in recycled glass is looking for a millwright to join their team. If you have experience in mine processing, cement or bulk material handling equipment industry, then this environment would be ideal for you.



The Perks:

The Job:

* weld stick in overhead and vertical down or up positions

* Exposure to repair and belt replacement of large bucket elevators and belt conveyors

* Ability and exposure to completely overhaul air diaphragm pumps and piston pumps

* Exposure to and familiarity with non-positive displacement pumps and positive displacement pumps

* Strong pneumatics background and experience with mechanical actuators and rotary airlocks.

* The ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.

* Strong rigging skills, good fabrication skills

* Follow preventative maintenance work orders and completes in a timely fashion, keeps maintenance records

* operating hoisting and lifting devices as necessary during the repair of machinery

*working accurately with numbers, and on occasion doing basic drawings of machine parts

* cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery

* using welding equipment, hand and power tools as necessary

* contributes to the development of preventive maintenance plans



You bring:

* millwright license 433A - A MUST HAVE

* rigging/mining, bulk material handling equipment exposure

* strong welding - overhead/vertical down maintain and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, inspect and investigate defects and malfunctions.
