What does the job offer to you?

* Skilled trades - permanent opportunities in the advanced manufacturing sector

* Starting wage between $20-22/hour. Experienced Mold Maintenance Technicians can earn $25+/hour.

* Paid Learning and Training Program with local industry leading employers



What is required to be successful in this role?

* Must be able to work continental shifts / or rotational shifts (2 weeks day/2 weeks afternoons)

* Previous experience in assembly and/or disassembly of products in a manufacturing environment

* You have strong mechanical aptitude

* You are good with math

* You enjoy working in a hands-on, physical environment using hand and power tools

* Good communication skills

* Ability to complete online courses



What is the position?

* Clean, assemble and disassemble new or refurbished molds

* Check mold functionality for air, water and hydraulic effectiveness

* Interpret tool mold component drawings

* Maintain health and safety standards

* Complete texture repairs and polishes

* Use of hand and power tools, and measurement instruments

* Other duties as assigned
