Order Management Specialist - Waukesha, WI - Direct Hire

We are offering a direct hire opportunity for an Order Management Specialist at a top client of ours in Waukesha, WI. This company focuses on providing technology and services for mining, aggregates, recycling and metal refining industries.


$50-60K per year

What you will be doing:

This position will be responsible for all aspects of customer service to both external and internal clientele. Responsible for daily customer service activities such as answer inbound customer calls and emails, quoting, order entry, order management, and first-line technical and customer support. Answers customer calls as a member of the Distribution Inside Sales Team.

* Answers customer calls as a member of the Distribution Inside Sales Team.

* Prepares quotes and enters orders in SAP for customers received via phone, fax, and email.

* Understands and provides first-line technical information to customers utilizing equipment manuals, schematics, parts lists, blueprints, electronic databases & card files.

* Researches unique and alternate solutions for customers while collaborating with Sourcing & Technical Parts Support.

* Works with Technical Parts Support and Pricing to add new or update existing materials in SAP, tracking, and following to completion.

* Consults with sales teams, purchasing groups, design team, sourcing, logistics.

* Manages customer orders and satisfaction.

* Initiates, tracks, and follows up on quote requests, and lead time requests.

* Provides a direct contact link for sales and external customers.

* Upsells, by recommending and selling items additional to initial inquiry.

* Identifies customer and internal sales/service needs, based on effective communication.

* Reviews and prepares responses to inquiries from Customers for the Mining Services market, crushing and screening products within the CSR's allocated territory, and Cover other CSR's workload during peak activity and/or absence.

* Follows up quotations for parts on a prompt, efficient, consistent basis, monitor performance compared to KPI's.

* Facilitates critical customer service requests across departments.

* Monitors daily reporting to identify cases in need of action, providing solutions for customers/distributors.

* Interacts with local and global management and procurement personnel to ensure compliance to the site's strategies and objectives.

* Travels (both domestic and international) may be required as needed.

What is required to be successful:

* Associate's degree in technical field or business. Bachelor's degree preferred.

* Minimum of five years' customer service or related experience OR technical knowledge/experience in the industry with product familiarity.

* Previous experience in a mining-related position would be deemed an asset.

* Ability to understand equipment manuals, schematics, parts lists, & blueprints.

* Bilingual preferred, to support multiple markets.

* Understanding of product terminology and part numbers.

* Knowledge and experience in parts and service, sales administration, in the context of the international supply chain.

* SAP, MFG-Pro, and ATON software experience and asset.
