Manpower Engineering is partnering with a successful and growing company that provides industrial products and solutions for customers across the U.S. The organization works closely with clients on application analysis, design and engineering solutions, and manufacturing; taking pride in their ability to intimately understand their clients' needs and create a unique, innovative solution.



The company is currently experiencing fast paced growth and hiring for an Outside Sales Manager who will be responsible for successfully managing the sale of industrial product solutions through structured consultative sales discussions, ultimately serving as a business advisor for customers. This position will plan, organize, execute, and manage sales activities to ensure profitable growth and obtain sales objectives.



Responsibilities:





* Schedule and hold both virtual and face-to-face meetings with new and existing customers to gain an understanding of their business and make suggestions as to how products/systems can meet or exceed the reliability, efficiency, and value of competitors' products to improve the customers' processes and operations.

* Identify customer's Critical Success Factors (CSF), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and key initiatives to support development of account plans, sales strategies, and project justifications

* Develop quoting strategies and estimates for new projects, including creating and presenting proposals

* Maintain a thorough understanding of the customers' business, including their products and processes, markets served, key customers, industry dynamics that effect the customers' business and events that influence the customer's profits

* Maintain accountability for the growth of your client base, both through new customer acquisition as well as the development of existing relationships

* Identify and analyze historical data to identify buying patterns of current accounts, and determine ways to become a stronger, more inclusive supplier

* Develop pricing strategies and analyze profit margin for improvement and growth with customers

* Maintain current customer records, files, and reports of business transactions

* Assist and/or train customers with installation, in-service and maintenance training, and routine troubleshooting of products/systems in the field.



Qualifications:





* Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Engineering

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consultative sales approach to selling manufacturing service solutions and/or engineered products.

* Proven experience developing new business and building repeat business

* Demonstrated success calling on prospects and customers in industrial and/or manufacturing organizations

* Ability to establish and maintain business relationships and communicate with all levels of an organization.

* Excellent verbal and written presentation skills

* Competitive, entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive to succeed

* Ability to schedule and manage your own time, producing results and achieving sales goals

* Strong technical aptitude to learn the business and products and work independently to achieve sales goals

* Experience in financial analysis and developing sales projections

* Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills

* Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills

* Ability to schedule and manage your own time, delivering on activities that produce results
