Job Description

Manpower Engineering is seeking a Controls/PLC Technician in Sanford, NC.



GENERAL DESCRIPTION:



Diagnose and troubleshoot process assembly lines. Root cause analysis. Working closely with Engineering Department to perform upgrades and deep dive analysis of top breakdowns. Assist in maintenance PLC issues. Some programming to keep lines running. Minor mechanical and pneumatic repairs.



2.0 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:



Assurance of quality standards. (Maintaining equipment basic conditions).



Assurance of safety standards.



Creation of standard work documents:



o MPI for any modification on the equipment (Base on RC Analysis)



o SMP for critical adjustment and process parameter in order to deploy the knowledge through the MFE and Maintenance Department.



o Provide to PM team the critical items for Preventive Maintenance.



o EWO Analysis for breakdowns (Emergency Work Order).



Ability to make adjustments & and set up for equipment.



Troubleshooting machine issues



o Be able on regular Hours to support technical team on solve machine breakdown.



o For the major breakdown create the Root Cause Analysis in order to stablish action plan and avoid the same issue in the future (MFE will be leading the analysis involving all the departments needed).



PLC programming and troubleshooting.



o In charge to diagnosis the machine breakdown by PLC assistance.



o Ensure that process parameters are according to the standard. (For any modification approval is needed).



Work with Manufacturing Operations / Quality to monitor metrics & FTQ performance.



Training process documentation:



o Maintenance technicians will be leading the documentation of any corrective action placed.



o For Any Documentation created must be a training plan to deploy the knowledge across the MFE and Maintenance Team.



o For any Training that technician received must be a Training Document signed in order to prove the learning knowledge and create accountability system.



3.0 Features Skills desired:



PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley and Siemens Preferred). Able to read and overwrite programs.



Vision System (Keyence cameras and barcode readers, Cognex equipment etc.)



Festo Controls, servo motors and Electronic presses.



Robot programing (Fanuc, Denso, etc.)

Robotic experience
