Position Responsibilities / Requirements

Working with a coach complete the Packaging Operations On the Job Training Program which includes, but is not limited to the following:

* Complete Training Modules (Packaging Orientation, Safety, Colleague Expectations modules)

* Complete training in cGMP practices and demonstrate competency

* Understand and comply with all safety programs and procedures. This includes following proper guidelines when handling broken glass and working on equipment which has safety guarding.

* Learn and comply with all SOP's and associated documentation

* Learn to document steps accurately and legibly

* Complete training checklist for Line Assistant position.

* NOTE: depending on business needs, additional training on other lines and duties might be provided but not guaranteed.



Physical Demands

* Manual dexterity using hands and fingers

* Constant standing for extended periods

* Frequent need to sit, kneel, crouch, climb and reach with hands and arms

* Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds

* Ability to visually inspect product or printed materials for defects

* Demonstrate good listening and communication skills

Line Assistant Job Description

* Load vials onto the line

* Check vials for missing stoppers, caps, etc

* Assist in set-up of coders and labelers

* Ensure refrigeration parameters are met

* Destroy tray and skid tags as needed

* Stack cases

* Take out returns, rejects, scrap etc

* Operate Motorized and Manual Materials Handling Equipment

* Move semi-finished and packaged product in and out of refrigerated storage

* Wrap skids of product and other packaging materials

* De-corrugate packaging materials

* Demonstrate good housekeeping practices

* Assist operators at other positions as needed
