Job Description

Our client is looking to add a technical representative to their team servicing a large automotive facility in Cambridge.



Position Details:

*Assess current operations; identify trends, and recommend adjustments for acceptable upper and lower quality an production limitations

*Primary contact/liaison to company staff at customer sites

* Integrate with customers process and quality functions and program

*Provides training to line user and/or service technicians on production applications and production process line deficiencies

*Provides daily trial and kaizen support; interprets and analyzes results, generating reports and supports presentation

*Work effectively in various manufacturing environments, understanding the lines of demarcation

*Troubleshoot customer production lines assisting the diagnosis of root cause for correction

*Communicates with account manager, general manager, and technical for product line resolution, and sample results for resolution as needed

*Actively participates in inventory management, including physical inventory, maintaining forecasts, Deacom data entry

*Performs data entry and collects laboratory samples for testing, trails, and approval

*Other duties as assigned



Requirements:



Associate degree in Chemical related field; BS degree is preferred

*2-4 years of related work experience

*Hazardous material training

*Proven knowledge of specific laboratory testing requirements

*Proven knowledge of hazmat standards in packaging, shipping, and transporting of materials

*Proven knowledge of ISO/TS and quality applications

*Proven supervisory/advisory skills

*Proficient skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc…)

*Knowledge of OEM and/or GI standards

*Working knowledge of paint and paint application including parts that are associated with application for powder, pre-treatment, e-coat, or liquid paints (e.g. flow meters, filter press, settling tanks, spray, dip systems, pumps, filtrations systems, hose and nozzle, titrating and other customer production and laboratory testing equipment as needed)
