Our client, in the metal finishing industry is seeking a Painter’s Assistant to join their team. As a Painter’s Assistant, you will be supporting the Painter Lead. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, adaptable and willing to learn new things ; which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Painter Assistant
Location: Garden Grove, CA
Pay Rate (or Pay Range, if required): $15.50-$18.95/hr.
What’s the Job?
- Assist the Painter in daily activities not involving actual spraying of paint
- Prepare parts by hand sanding and solvent cleaning
- Mix a variety of chromate and non-chromated primers and topcoats
- Lay parts out and maneuver for eased application of paint
- Other duties as assigned
What’s Needed?
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
- At least 6 months of relevant experience
