Job Description

Are you seeking immediate employment in a safe and clean office environment? Manpower is currently recruiting for Patient Enrollment Coordinators for one of our well established Clients in Moncton, NB.



Patient Enrollment Coordinator - $16.00



What's in it for You?

* $16.00/hour plus 4% vacation pay

What is the Job?



* Act as a liaison for patients and healthcare providers as needed

* Answer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner

* Use sound judgment in handling calls, especially with upset patients

* Understanding of when to escalate calls to physicians'/practice manager/clinic nurses and patient program coordinators

* Obtain and enter accurate demographic and other patient information into computerized system (address, telephone number)

* Schedule appointment correctly - review appointment date, time, location, and provider name with patients

* Determine clinic and nurse availability using patient management system

* Inform caller of items to bring to appointment (medications list)

* Remind patients to arrive 5 minutes before scheduled appointment to complete paperwork

* Remind patients of cancellation/no show policy when appropriate

* Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the organization

* Managing email for program/territory/as assigned

* Direct calls to other Health Care Providers as needed by nursing team

* Provide assistance with document filing and submission of treatment reports to designated programs and prescribers

* Handles outbound and inbound calls to enroll patients in programs, provide overview of programs and respond to program-related questions



What Do You Bring to the Job?



* High school or GED required

* 5-7 years of customer service and/or related clinical environment; working knowledge of medical terminology and overseeing/guiding day to day activities of other personnel

* Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset

* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

* Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone, with peers and assistants within team

* Ability to relate to persons with diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds

* Ability to handle a "call center" environment: work quickly and multi task

* Ability to exercise good judgment to handle calls appropriately

* Ability to demonstrate good customer service

* Ability to demonstrate good knowledge of computer software applications; Outlook, Word, Excel

* Typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents using computer software
