Job Description
Manpower's Healthcare Team is excited to share that we are now seeking a full-time Patient Services Professional to join a local Greater Charleston, WV medical office. This is ideal for someone with prior medical office experience or someone with office experience looking to break into the medical field.
Details & Basic Functions:
* Greeting and directing patients to examination rooms
* Providing exception customer service to patients, visitors, families and coworkers
* Check-in patients - identify reason for visit, update patient records in database, secure copies of insurance card
* Scheduling patient appointments and making reminder calls
* Informing patients about delays and wait times
* Runs daily reports
* Answer incoming calls and route appropriately
* Additional tasks as requested :)
Shift Insight
* Shift: Days, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
* High School Graduate
* Prior medical office experience is preferred
* Prior experience working with Athena or Dentrix preferred
* Strong communicator: written and verbal
* Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds
