Job Description

Manpower is conducting a search for a Payroll Coordinator for a large food distributor in Riverside, CA.. This is a long term contract opportunity and requires the incumbent to have the following experience:



* ADP eTime experience

* Workday experience (preferred)

* MS Excel

* Outstanding Organization Skills / Time Management

* Collaboration & Communication



As the Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:



* Gathers and submits information for payroll processing; compiles and reports data; related duties.

* Inputs and monitors punch detail in timekeeping system. Transmits data files and other relevant information to provide accurate information for payroll calculation and processing.

* Submits all appropriate data to Sysco Business Services for the processing of any manual ACH or wire payment.

* Updates system based on new payroll figures and prepares various reports of payroll information. Inputs new hire information.

* Receives and submits garnishments to Sysco Corporate and acts as liaison for employees with garnishment issues.

* Distributes weekly reports such as payroll hours, headcount, hires, terminations and other data. Prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to provide an accurate record of expense.

* Maintains a filing system of payroll related information by updating, making new entries, or purging old information to ensure accurate information is available.

* May assist with account reconciliations at the request of the CFO.

* Prepares weekly and monthly bills for processing including: Union Health & Welfare contributions, Union Dues, Union Pension and various other accounting responsibilities.

* Performs all other duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required



* High school diploma or equivalent.

* 1-2 years experience coordinating weekly or bi-weekly payroll activity.

* Experience with ADP and ADP Enterprise eTime timekeeping and reports.

* Experience using MS Word and Outlook

* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

* Some knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, and concepts; payroll concepts and terminology; accounting techniques and entries; preparation of payroll reports and statements; analyze data by applying payroll concepts

* A demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and organize work activities and adhere to strict deadlines; follow instructions, procedures, and policies; identify and solve problems; apply ethical conduct principles associated with the handling of confidential information/materials.
