Job Description

Our client, a well-known multinational company that produces fire, HVAC, and security equipment for buildings, is seeking Brazers to join their team. As a Brazer, you will be part of the team brazing, assembling and inspecting parts. Ideal candidates will have a great attitude, good communication, and ability to work well in a team environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay: $19.50-$21 per hour


What’s the Job?

  • Performs a variety of operations such as set-up, brazing, assembly, inspection, minor repairs and/or testing to meet specifications.
  • Check for and obtain required tools, equipment and parts as needed.
  • Notify trucker/supervisor/scheduler/lead person of part shortages/outages per instruction and as they occur.
  • Work from blue prints and verbal instructions from Supervisor.
  • Adjust assembly frames, bend and fit components, and piece-parts to meet required tolerances.
  • Brush and/or sand including basic visual inspecting or various parts/components, verifying their conformance to specifications within the span of normal unit flow and timing as instructed by the Supervisor.
  • Perform brazing and/or other operations to seal tubing or hoses. Assure all brazed/soldered joints or parts meet pressure tight standards per “Manufacturing Operation Specifications”.
  • Place completed piece-parts/material/assemblies and/or units in lay down area or on conveyor for subsequent operations using a conveyor or manually move units as required.
  • Identify parts from drawings or data cards, read the dimensions to the piece-part component, or sub-assembly, using a measure tape scale or the like.
  • Perform a variety of packaging operations necessary to pack comfort units/parts for shipment. Enclose with required tags, instructions, warranties, etc., and seal with packaging tools.
What is needed?
  • Steel toe shoes
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen 
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to stand, stoop, squat, bend, and lift up to 50lbs 
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and read/interpret blueprints
  • Ability to understand, read and communicate in English
