Pipe Fitter
Our client based in Red Deer is looking for a skilled pipe-fitter to join their team on a short-term project. The ideal candidate will be working on rotational shifts, building pipe systems ensuring pipes are cut, installed, and maintained. If you pride yourself in your pipe-work methods (cutting/welding), and maintain high standards in work quality, we are looking for you!
* Monday- Friday
* On rotational shifts some 14 days on 7 off most times 5-10 days on. Can Travel All of Alberta
What will you be doing?
* Pipe installation plans, conducting quality control.
* Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes
* Weld, assemble, and lubricate pipes
* Testing pipe systems to ensure safety and functionality
* Review blueprints to understand requirements
* Draw ISO's for fabrication
* Manage materials and fabrication
* Run Jobs and crews as needed for piping installation and general facility construction
What do you bring?
* 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Journeymen apprentice
* Ability to understand blueprints
* Experience with tools and equipment used on the job site
* Proven experience as a pipe fitter
* Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with dangerous equipment or chemicals
* PPE: Safety boots, gloves, safety glasses, no loose clothing
