Job Description

Currently seeking a Pipe Foreman that will be responsible for the supervision pf underground utility work to assure optimum productivity and construction compliance, that will include the lay out, assembly and installation of various sizes and types of water, sewer, storm drain and sediment control pipe and structures.

Job Duties:

1.demonstrates technical proficiency in multiple aspects of the following i.e. excavation, pipe, paving, grading, trench box, and/or other relevant disciplines and maintenance of

2. supervise hourly crewmembers and plans/schedules manpower and equipment as needed

3. manages deliveries from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure safety and project compliance

4. ensures customer satisfaction in all customer and inspector relations/interactions

5. make judgments regarding the most efficient operation of equipment and attachments

6. sequences pipe installation to reduce inference with other project activities and the public

7. establishes safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program

8. continually inspects work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns

9. observes assigned equipment to detect machinery malfunctions. Assures the proper operation and maintenance of equipment


3 to 5 years of supervisory experience

valid drivers license

Competent Person Certification

ability to problem solve and adjust to changing circumstances

pass drug and alcohol screening

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and carry on a frequent basis of at least 75lbs

Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment.

Frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather conditions.
