Plant Manager - $105k to $140k per year

What are the job responsibilities?
* Oversee 4 key areas of plant operations: Organizational personnel leadership, Driving business performance, Talent management, and Continuous Improvement.
* Lead all aspects of the manufacturing operations, facilities, materials and employees of the plant.
* Set objectives, developing plans, execute daily management activities and implement corrective action (as needed) to ensure customer success.
* Drive safety initiatives and compliance, ensuring that employee and product safety are top priority.
* With the site leadership team, lead the business management cadence (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) that drives Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost performance throughout the organization.
* Effectively manage budgets and spending to achieve both long and short term business objectives.
* Partner with other Site Leaders, Business Unit, Business Segment and Central Functions to ensure both Business' and Customer's Success.
* With HR Business Partner, lead talent management system for the organization; including team recruitment, performance management and development initiatives.
* Lead the development, organizational alignment and achievement of long term value stream/operational improvement priorities (Policy Deployment).
* Leverage knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement principles to solve problems utilizing a fact-based, team oriented and structured approach.
* Establish and lead an organization energized by effective problem solving, defect elimination and effective root cause corrective action.
What do you bring to the role?
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
* 7 + years demonstrated experience with increasing responsibility in Matls, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production, Continuous Improvement
* 3+ years in Leadership role.
* Continuous Improvement, Black Belt in Lean / Six Sigma preferred.
* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite products.
* Financial analysis, material management and planning skills.
* Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.
* High level of attention to detail, with ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills.
* Open to traveling 5 - 10% of time as required.
* Ability to interface & provide a high level of technical & customer support to clients
